Purchase Ledger Clerk

Your new company
A fast-growing retail business in Portsmouth are looking to add to their finance team in Portsmouth with the position of Purchase Ledger Clerk.
Your new role
Your role will report into the Purchase ledger manager and will consist of the following:

• Process invoices in a timely and efficient manner
• Match purchase orders to invoices
• Prepare and authorise invoices for payment, taking into consideration divisional cash flow requirements.
• Ensure all data entry is completed within deadlines.
• Deal with queries from suppliers as and when required.
• Liaise with suppliers to resolve invoice queries or to obtain missing documentation.
• Assist with ad hoc analysis or other appropriate admin duties as and when required.
• Complete monthly statement reconciliations
• Preparation of new supplier accounts
• Promote and act in accordance with company values, systems, policies and procedures.

What you'll need to succeed

• Full right-to-work in the UK, with prior experience working within a UK-based finance team.
• Previous experience working within a similar role
