SalaryCMA is partnering with a fast-paced, growing business based in Portsmouth, Hampshire to recruit a Purchase Ledger to join the team for a 12 month maternity contract.
This is a great opportunity to join a friendly team where you can progress and expand your skillset. The successful candidate will report into the Team Leader; the team is always growing so there could be a possibility of a permanent contract for the right candidate.
What will the Purchase Ledger role involve?
- Process high volume invoices;
- Reconcile statements and assist with month end ledger close down;
- Create new suppliers and reconcile accounts;
- Raise POs and allocate correctly;
- Produce BACS payments;
- Other ad hoc finance duties
- Other ad hoc duties as required by the team
Suitable Candidate for the Purchase Ledger:
- Experience in a finance team;
- Strong IT skills;
- Use of SAP is essential to this role;
- Excellent interpersonal skills including strong communication skills.
