Your new company
You will be working for a manufacturing company local to Southampton who are actively seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk as a result of restructuring.
Your new role
Oversee the Purchase Ledger process ensuring accurate and timely payment of invoices
Deliver process improvements
Prepare weekly payment runs
Deal with escalated queries
Match invoices to purchase order receipts
Send invoices for approval and monitor responses in line with internal approval limits
Electronically file invoices, credit notes, delivery notes and approvals
Supplier statement reconciliationsWhat you'll need to succeed
Prior experience within a Purchase Ledger role
Experience working within a small finance department
Managing a high number of invoices dailyWhat you'll get in return
You will earn a salary between £24,000 & £26,000 per annum alongside a great benefits package.
