Purchase Ledger Clerk

Your new company
You will be working for a manufacturing company local to Southampton who are actively seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk as a result of restructuring.
Your new role

• Oversee the Purchase Ledger process ensuring accurate and timely payment of invoices
• Deliver process improvements
• Prepare weekly payment runs
• Deal with escalated queries
• Match invoices to purchase order receipts
• Send invoices for approval and monitor responses in line with internal approval limits
• Electronically file invoices, credit notes, delivery notes and approvals
• Supplier statement reconciliations

What you'll need to succeed

• Prior experience within a Purchase Ledger role
• Experience working within a small finance department
• Managing a high number of invoices daily

What you'll get in return
You will earn a salary between 24,000 & 26,000 per annum alongside a great benefits package.
