Receptionist
32.5 hours per week
Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm
£11.44 per hour plus bonus
Location: Baillieston, Glasgow
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Receptionist to join our team at our site in Baillieston, Glasgow. The postholder will be responsible for the day to day running of reception and providing first point of contact for customers. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving license and previous experience of customer service, invoicing, cash handling and knowledge of Sage accounts package.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- To provide first point of contact for business to business and domestic customers, in person and over the telephone
- Engage with all customers and visitors promptly, professionally and courteously
- Provide customer quotations
- Review customer vehicles for damage and identify opportunities for upsell.
- Manage the diary
- Book in jobs and ensure all customers are updated on the progress of their work.
- Update the onsite work tracker
- Create customer invoices via Sage accounts package
- Take cash and card payments on site and over the telephone
- Manual input of supplier invoices onto Sage
- Keep reception area and customer toilets clean and tidy
- Liaise with other departments as required e.g. workshop, estimators etc
- Carry out some driving duties as required
Key Skills & Experience:
- Customer Service Experience including domestic and business to business customers
- Computer literate, with keyboard skills and experience of Microsoft Excel
- Invoicing experience
- Experience of taking cash and card payments in person and over the telephone
- Ability to work on own initiative and take responsibility where necessary
- Team Player
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Clean full UK driving license
- Experience of SAGE Accounts Package would be advantageous
- Experience of upsell would be advantageous
