Our client is a leading producer of Consumer goods who operate on a global basis. You will be joining the UK team, based out of modern offices with plenty of parking and a shuttle bus from the nearest train station. This is an opportunity to work alongside a very experience HR Director, who is happy to train and mentor someone in this newly created role.
Description
The Recruitment and HR Officer will be responsible for:
- Assisting line managers with recruitment for a variety of roles across the business unit
- Creating a new recruitment process, with the aim of reducing agency spend
- Working on employer branding and presence on LinkedIn
- Coming with ideas on how to target and retain emerging talent
- Supporting the HR director on a number of HR projects
- Assisting the Pay & Rewards manager with onboarding of new starers
- Supporting sites across the UK with various HR queries
- Managing a centralised HR inbox
Profile
The Recruitment and HR Officer will have the following qualities:
- Experience in and HR/ Recruitment role
- Ability to manage difficult conversations
- Great communication skills and ability to build relationships across the business
- Strong understanding of software packages, particularly Microsoft suite
Job Offer
Salary between £30-34,000 per anum (dependant on experience), 25 days holiday, hybrid working and various other company benefits.
Please note- this is initially a 12 month FTC due to hiring practices within the business, but this company would like to consider candidates who are looking for a longer term opportunity as a priority.
