Key Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA certification is a must. Bring your expertise to a role that values your qualifications and experience.
- Life Insurance Industry Experience: Proven track record in the life insurance sector, with comprehensive knowledge of industry regulations, finance operations, and reporting.
- Solvency II and IFRS17: In-depth understanding and experience with Solvency II and IFRS17 regulations and requirements. Stay at the forefront of industry compliance.
- Financial Reporting: Strong knowledge of General Ledger and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Your analytical skills will play a crucial role in financial reporting and analysis.
- Financial Analyst Skills: Demonstrate your ability to solve complex problems with broad impacts. We are seeking a strategic thinker who can contribute to the financial success of our organization.
- Systems Implementation: Familiarity with systems implementation is a plus. Be part of a team that embraces innovation and cutting-edge technology.
Typical Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute and collaborate with the Financial Reporting team with delivery of monthly, half yearly and annual financial and regulatory reporting for the Parent and Subsidiary entities.
- Ensure that returns e.g. Solvency II are accurate and submitted on time.
- Provide accurate and timely reporting of financial positions including Statutory Accounts and Solvency II returns.
- Liaison with third parties where required, including external auditors and fund custodians, to progress resolution of any queries.
- Comply with the FCA conduct and Consumer Dut rules and the PRA’s conduct.
