I am looking for a temp for an initial three-month period to support with digitising of key records and documentation within Hampshire County Councils Universal Services department.
Job Purpose
Supporting Archiving and document retention strategies within the Property Services section of Universal Services. This will include the following duties:
Scanning of microfiche using specific software. This will initially support the Hampshire Engineering Services - Bridges Microfiche.
Referencing according to specification and uploading into one of our document management systems (SharePoint - Concerto)
- Supporting a backlog and clearance of Property related project archiving to defined standards and processes
- Supporting scanning of key Property documentation for retention and upload to SharePoint (structural)
- Supporting with compilation of building manuals using PDF Editor software and then saving to Concerto
- Supporting with scanning of Property microfiche, saving according to defined standard and uploading to Concerto
- Other digitisation and archiving tasks as defined by the team manager.
This is a full-time office based role.
Experience of Microsoft Office packages and good attention to detail a must. Please note there will be an element of lifting of files and boxes as part of this role.
