About the Role
An exciting Senior Admin Assistant opportunity has become available at Hampshire County Council in a busy Social Care Team to provide admin support under the direction of the Team Manager.
What is the day-to-day of the role:
- Providing support with communication, email, letters and telephone calls
- Providing support for team managers and teams
- Typing of letters, emails, reports
- Taking minutes
- Booking rooms
- Sending invitations
- Distributing minutes and other reports/documents
- Assist the social workers with collating information for chronologies, visits,
- agency checks, referral feedback and closures etc.
- Caseload management
- Updating ICS
- Scanning and indexing
- Maintaining paper records (where appropriate)
- Tracking caseloads and data quality
- Monitoring and updating spread sheets
- Financial support
- Support with petty cash
- Provisions
- Purchase orders and assisting with procurement
- Travel warrants
- Providing support with legal process
- Filing documents to court
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Previous general administrative experience with specified experience where appropriate computer literate in the use of variety of software including Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.
