The Opportunity
As a Project Specialist within the Agile framework, you will be involved in a kaleidoscope of activities supporting the Programme Manager with the progression of daily activities including (but not limited to) interacting with a large cross functional team across multiple locations requesting updates, understanding status and next steps. Obtaining commitments for activities, compiling and progressing specific activities to support the efficient delivery of workstreams to meet key milestones and gateways.
As a Group Scrum Master you will be promoting the methodologies and tools in Agile and be responsible for the group ceremonies.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of projects through utilisation of Agile techniques and toolsets
- Leading governance activities for the project including Change management, Risk management and lessons learned (undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested)
- Interacting with teams both within and outside the Agile Framework
- Reporting to the Programme manager and assisting with progression of daily activities as Project Specialist. Supporting the Group Product Owner as Scrum Master
- Leading and coaching wider team (squads + group members) in its Scrum adoption
- Assisting the group by removing road blocks
- Creating and acquiring metrics to support showcase events
- Ensuring Jira environment is effectively mapped to support delivery of product increments

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Essential:
- Understanding of Project Management skills
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills; confident at building and maintaining strong relationships and implement new ways of working
- Organisation & planning skills
- Logically and methodically prioritise tasks demonstrating initiative and ownership of workload prioritisation
- High level autonomy and adaptability
- Strong written and presentation skills
Desirable:
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Knowledge and experience in relevant fields of automotive, engineering or manufacturing
- Agile Framework understanding & Jira experience
