The Sustainability department is a focused, passionate team within the Strategy and Sustainability function at JLR. The team works with a broader cross-functional team, engaging and working collaboratively and innovatively with all functions across the business.
WHAT TO EXPECT
As the Senior Analyst you will be a member of a small team which leads the development and iteration of sustainability strategies across a range of areas as well as our reporting and disclosures as a business. Given the strategic nature of the work undertaken, this role will engage with a wide range of stakeholders both across the business and externally. In this role you will support the team with understanding expectations from our various stakeholders including legislators, investors, customers, employees and suppliers. You will be involved with transforming this insight into appropriate strategies that can be rolled out across the business.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Analyse stakeholder expectations and use the insight to identify areas where ESG strategies need to be created or improved.
- To develop and implement strategies into the business covering a range of ESG topics.
- Develop training materials to engage employees on new strategic areas.
- Develop internal processes, policies & procedures to support the implementation of new strategies.
- Support our enterprise risk management process with ESG technical expertise.
- Support the drafting of content for various disclosures on emerging strategic areas.
- Bring outside information to the business and stay up to date with emerging sustainability trends.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Essential
- Significant knowledge of environmental and or social sustainability issues.
- Experience in developing sustainability strategy and embedding them into a complex organisation.
- Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills with ability to influence and build lasting relationships
- Analytical & problem-solving skills which could include data manipulation
