Role: Senior HR Officer
Location: Manchester or Sheffield (hybrid)
Salary: £34,000

Ashley Kate HR are recruiting a Senior HR Officer on behalf of our Education client on a full-time, permanent basis. This role will focus heavily on Employee Relations, but will also be supporting the HR Business Partner and working as part of a small team.
 
The role:
·Manage ER case work - grievances, disciplinaries, restructures, performance management
·Support HR Officer on absence management
·Deputise in HR Business Partner's absence
·Support safeguarding lead on safeguarding related cases
·Work with HR Business Partner to plan strategy by using data for reports
 
Ideal candidate:
·Ideally CIPD qualified (or working towards), or relevant working experience
·Minimum 2 years experience in similar role
·Desirable to have experience in the education sector
·Hands on experience managing ER case work from start to finish
·Ability to travel across sites on an ad hoc basis
