Senior Site Manager

Your new company
Working for a leading Tier 1 Contractor as a Senior Site Manager, you will be joining their North Scotland team on a permanent basis. This role has an immediate start in January 2024. You will be paid a competitive annual salary, receive a car/ car allowance and a host of other company benefits.
Your new role
In your new role as a Senior Site Manager, you will work on a high-value new build construction project in the Inverness area. Using your previous skills and experience, you will lead a team on site to keep the work progressing as per the programme, ensure work is carried out safely, manage the progress and quality of subcontractors and manage quality control on site. As a Senior Site Manager, you will have responsibility for working with the commercial team on site progress and cost control, you will organise materials and labour and keep up-to-date records of risk assessments, method statements and permits. Daily you will carry out site inductions, tool box talks and site inspections. Weekly and monthly you will host or contribute to site meetings with the wider team, subcontractors and the client. As a leader on site, you will have a range of responsibilities to ensure the safe and effective running of the site.
What you\'ll need to succeed
This role will require you to have previous experience in a Site Management role and have adequate experience of working in the built environment. Formal qualifications such as SVQs or a degree in a construction related discipline would be advantageous, but it is not essential. Applicants for a trade or technical background would also be considered. Ideally, you will hold an SMSTS, First Aid Certificate and a CSCS card (supervisory or management level). You must be a good team player, a strong leader and an excellent communicator. Ideally, you will be based in the Inverness area.

You will be paid a salary in the region of £55,000 - £60,000 in addition to a company car or car allowance, enhanced holiday entitlement, company pension scheme and a range of additional benefits.
