The successful Service Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the activities of directly employed and subcontracted engineers, liaising with commercial/business customers, and seeing the process through from initial enquiry to invoicing of the customer, ensuring customers are kept up to date at all times and their great relationships are maintained. This company have an excellent reputation within their industry.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure an excellent level of customer service and communication are given at all times
- Liaise with customers, other co-ordinators and engineers to make sure there is effective cover for breakdowns, services and repairs
- Contact customers to organise the service cover in sensitive breakdown areas such as hospitals
- Hiring sub-contractors to cover this service when additional team members are needed
- Negotiation and re-arrangement of workloads when needed to cover priority areas
- Load jobs on the system to produce working programmes for field personnel and subcontractors
- Check all service and commissioning reports
- Ensure that invoices raised for customers
- Prepare and issue monthly warranty analysis of reported problems
- Feedback this analysis to Engineering Department
Experience and Knowledge:
- Good IT skills including MS Office
- Previous coordination or administration experience
- Ability to prioritise workload tasks
- Excellent communication skills
Salary & Benefits for the Service Coordinator:
- £DOE and available on application
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays

- Monday - Thursday 8.30am-5pm, Friday 8.30am - 4pm
- Monday - Thursday 45 minute lunch, 1 hour on Friday
