SalaryWe're on the hunt for an energetic System Analyst to join our Operational Planning department, based in our head office within the Compass Centre. In this role, you'll be immersed in a diverse array of operational data and processes spanning various internal and external functions, aimed at facilitating informed decision-making through data analysis. The victorious candidate will possess a knack for problem-solving and a sharp analytical mindset.
As a System Analyst, you will be responsible for understanding and interpreting the information needs of teams within operational departments at Heathrow. This entails defining and advancing the system's development from conception to its final iteration. Collaborating closely with data analysts and data engineers, you'll translate stakeholder requirements into actionable solutions and uncover operational efficiencies that align with Heathrow's overarching goal of Making Every Journey Better.
- Providing complete, accurate and timely business intelligence to support performance and analytics through data and tools; could include business planning, demand and capacity modelling, data quality and mandatory reporting.
- Liaising with subject matter experts across the business to build, test and launch new products
- Quality assurance by owning, maintaining and designing metrics
- Create and maintain new aggregated views, tables and dashboards to simplify data querying, track metrics and visualise insights
- A proven track record of analysis & data insights
- Interpersonal skills and proactive approach to problem solving, as you'll engage with colleagues across all levels of the business to understand and solve their challenges
- Use data visualisations to explain analytical findings, explore the data and create compelling reports and insights
- Strong Word, PowerPoint & Excel skills
- Strong stakeholder management

Working Location
Our agile approach offers the opportunity to combine home working with meetings, events and training at the airport. All roles involve some on-site working each week, so you’ll need to be based in the UK and within a commutable distance to Heathrow.
