Salary: £41,683 per annum

You will install and test alterations to the Signalling and Telecoms infrastructure to ensure that it meets the requirements of the operational railway in a safe, reliable, efficient and cost-effective way.

Essential Criteria

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Signalling Technician OR A minimum of 4 years experience as an Apprentice Technician (having obtained or working towards a relevant BTEC qualification) within the railway industry OR A Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or Electrical/Electronic Engineering with a minimum of 4 years experience in an electrical engineering or construction environment.
• Signalling Works Testing (SWT) Modules 3B,3C and 4 or willing to obtain
• Signalling Maintenance Testing Handbook (SMTH) competent or willing to obtain.
• Ability to work shifts including nights
• Full current driving licence

Desirable Criteria

• Experience of electronic transmission systems.
