The team:
Our team is part of the Global eCommerce Strategy team. The eCommerce business unit is the growth engine for TikTok and a works on high priority projects. Our team is based in London and is a part of the core business team for eCommerce. We are a cross-functional team, where you can learn, explore, and work with different business units including Creators, Merchants, and Agencies. The team has high visibility and owns an end-to-end strategy for promotions and incentives, including new & existing users and major campaigns like Black Friday. We value transparency, trust, and efficiency.
Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Overseeing strategic project efforts within team and leading collaboration with cross-functional partners
• Resource Strategy: Working in developing the strategy behind incentive policies (e.g., promotions, new customer acquisition strategies) and the allocation of TikTok eCommerce resources, leveraging insights from analysis to grow our platform
• Senior Stakeholder Management: Effective communication with key leaders; clear, concise, and structured proposals on growth and strategic initiatives
• End-to-end Ownership: Working alongside business teams to implement and monitor our strategy, proposing future strategy directions and improvements
• Coaching & Mentoring: Support growth and development of junior colleagues on the team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a quantitative subject from a top university (such as mathematics, economics, engineering, statistics, or similar)
• Extensive work experience in a top strategy consulting firm or related fields (e.g., Investment Banking, Corporate Strategy)
• Strong problem solving and numerical reasoning skills
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to manage senior stakeholders
• Experience in mentoring and coaching junior colleagues
• Experience in ecommerce or related industries preferred
