Warehouse Administrator - Full Time - Portsmouth - £23,000-£27,000k per annum

A role has become available with a small but stable organisation who are based in Farlington, PO6. Maintaining high standards and a team ethos of chipping in when needed are the core values enabling this company to be going strong after more than 20 years in business.
They now have a new vacancy to join the small but dedicated office team as a Warehouse Administrator. This role is being offered on a permanent basis, with hours considered at a minimum of 30hrs per week and up to a maximum of 37.5hrs per week. Full training can be provided but an understanding of Warehouse and administration duties and utilising software systems is advantageous.
This role will include the following tasks:
- Ensure that all paperwork accepted into the Administration department is of a high quality and is submitted within set timescales
- Customer order entry - using Sage50
- Invoice and shipping of goods
- Customer communication (phone/email)
- Stock control using MS Excel
- Issuing job sheets
- Stock labelling
- Maintain internal and external communications
- Meet audit expectations for all stakeholders
- Contribute towards the development of an inclusive learning environment
- Carry out any additional duties as reasonably requested by line management
Requirements:
- Experience of being part of a team
- Working knowledge of Excel - desirable
- Working knowledge of Sage or a similar software system - desirable
This role requires the successful candidate to be office-based Monday-Friday from 8am with an early finish on a Friday of 11:30am. This role comes with 28 days holiday per annum and flexibility to the set hours worked per week (minimum of 30hrs, maximum 37.5hrs)
