Description
- Be the Team Lead for a team of Financial Operations Assistants covering all aspects of both the AP and AR ledgers, ensuring that our suppliers are paid correctly and on time, their accounts are fully reconciled, and that all cash received into the business is fully reconciled.
- Understand and improve processes - working with your team members and colleagues across the wider business to gain an in depth understanding of our current processes and suggest and implement improvements to drive efficiency.
- Give great service to both our internal colleagues and external suppliers to really understand what's driving queries and what knowledge we can provide to our teams to reduce them Building on our existing reporting to ensure that information is provided to the right people at the right time in the best way
- Building relationships within the team and across the business so that you are the first point of contact for any queries
Profile
- Strong AP/AR experience dealing with high volumes in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent leadership skills
- Track record of improving processes and systems
- Good Excel skills
- Experience of using Microsoft Business Central
- Excellent communication skills to business partner and build relationships
- Great attention to detail
- Able to work well under pressure and prioritise workload effectively
