About the role:

• Rate of pay: £13.02 p/h
• Hours of Work:37 hrs per week
• Duration of post: 6 month temporary post
• Public Sector

Duties:

• Provide efficient and effective administrative and financial support to the Waste Service
• Assist in the development and promotion of Council’s waste management activities in order to maximise service performance and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure high standards of customer care and continuity of service in meeting organisational deadlines while dealing with a wide variety of stakeholders through various communication channels.

Criteria:

• Applicants must have a minimum of 5 GCSEs to include English Language and Maths (grade C or above) or equivalent qualifications to demonstrate literacy and numeracy
• 2 years administrative experience in a busy office environment to include
• Ability to deal efficiently with large volumes of work
• Successfully prioritising competing demands
• Working knowledge of a wide range of administrative activities within a customer focused environment
• IT literacy and confident use of databases, e-mail and Microsoft packages
• A qualification that demonstrates competency in working with office technology i.e. Word Processing or Typewriting.
