AddressApplication Support Engineer is required for a dynamic property business in the heart of London. You will be working as part of a small business Operational Support team, providing support for key applications, this involved small development activities, business, and technical support.
The successful candidate will identify ways to maximise the potential of the applications and our ongoing investment in technology, as well as using your excellent analytical and problem-solving skills complemented by excellent people and communication skills, both written and verbal.
My client is an Azure house, so all applications are hosted in Azure. The application portfolio consists of an internally developed Asset Forecasting system, Property management system, Accounting, Corporate Data Warehouse, BI Solution plus a further dozen smaller supporting applications which are a combination of third-party products and in-house developed applications.
My client needs someone that can understand, build, and configure SharePoint solutions. They need someone that is more advanced than just a SharePoint user.
Key duties include:
- Identify, manage, and resolve incidents for the supported systems, working closely with internal teams and third-party vendors.
- Working on performance patching and system improvement.
- Be responsible for 2nd and 3rd line Application Support and proactively identify service improvement opportunities relating to the application estate.
- Testing and deployments of developed solutions.
- Creation and maintenance of technical and non-technical documentation.
- Review and implement upgrades and fixes available from system software suppliers.
Skills required:
- Knowledge of MS Azure Cloud services and Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of TSQL and SQL Server.
- Extensive SharePoint experience.
- Must be able to demonstrate experience of planning, prioritising, and organising own workload ensuring customer needs and expectations are met, administrative tasks are completed punctually.
- Ability to manage and be responsible for several business applications.
