We are currently recruiting for a Part-time Bookkeeper & Accounts Administrator to join a well established company based in Aspley Guise.
You would be required to work 4 hours a day, 4 days a weeek (16 hours). However, there may be some flexibility with the working hours.
Please note, this role is FULLY office based, with NO remote working.
Duties would include:
- Processing payments & invoices.
- Handling income and receipts, and then entering the relevant data into internal databases and SAGE software.
- Paying invoices and tracking bank account balances.
- Completing VAT returns.
- Recording any inconsistencies to help with reconciliation work and year-end accounts.
- Developing monthly financial statements including cash flow, profit and loss and balance sheets.
- Preparing employee wages and completing payroll (11-12 employees).
- Managing employee expense claims, pension contributions and handling employee queries.
- Helping administrative duties and supporting with the preparation of yearly accounts.
Key Skills & Experience required:
- A minimum of two to three years worth of bookkeeping and accounts experience.
- A core understanding of Xero software.
- Fully versed in the use of MS Office.
- Hard-working, motivated and enjoys working within a collaborative team.
