DUTY MANAGER | Circa £42,500 per annum + 12% bonus scheme
Reporting to the Guest Experience Manager, you will be directly responsible for overseeing shift management across the Village, ensuring operational standards are maintained across all divisions and that guest issues are addressed promptly in order to protect our brand reputation.
As the Senior Manager during the shift, you will require the ability to deliver exceptional guest care skills and maintain high standards for a quality memorable experience for our guests.
You will have a desire to improve the business and drive opportunities in a pro-active, strategic manner.
You will be required to liaise with Senior Company personnel across all business areas and be able to perform under pressure to effectively manage any potential emergency situations.
Due to the sensitive nature of this role the successful applicant will be required to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly CRB) Check. This disclosure, together with other selection information, will need to be satisfactory to the Company for employment to commence.
HOURS OF WORK
You will be contracted to work 160 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period. Shifts are generally 8am - 4.30pm OR 2.30pm - 12am.
As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include weekends, public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis.
ABOUT YOU
You will need to be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal effectively with guests, management, Center Parcs colleagues and all outsourced partners in order to ensure the Company can exceed both revenue and profit targets.
Essential requirements:
- Strong operational experience in a managerial capacity with experience in a management position
- Sociably confident with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to stay calm, composed and positive, even in trying moments
- Excellent organisation, communication and negotiation skills
- A good level of computer literacy
- Friendly, genuine and warm
Desirable requirements:
- Previous Duty Management Experience
- Personal License Holder or experience in licensing law
- Ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
