Askham Hall, near Penrith has an exciting opportunity for a talented and engaging individual to join the team as a Wedding Co-ordinator / Event Duty Manager.
Part of the Ciel Hotels Group, Askham Hall is a luxury hotel complete with Michelin starred restaurant. Located in Askham village at the foot of the fells it is an exclusive destination venue set in beautiful tranquil gardens. Winner of Cumbria Tourism Wedding Venue of the Year.
Working in a small close knit team you will be responsible for the setup of the wedding venue for your allocated weddings and oversee the operational delivery of the day from start to finish. You will need to confidently manage and motivate a delivery team, we strive for the highest possible standards.
You must be friendly and efficient with excellent communication skills, you will be guiding couples through their special day and helping to make it perfect, a day to remember for all the right reasons.
You will build relationships with our customers, suppliers and across the teams at Ciel Hotels.
You will need to demonstrate strong organizational and administration skills with a keen eye for detail. Computer competency is a must, we use Guestline Conferencing and Banqueting Module and various Microsoft packages.
Previous experience of event operations in a luxury setting is preferred.
The role involves some evening and weekend work.

We are looking for the right person to start as soon as possible. Hours subject to negotiation, full-time and part-time options can be discussed. Salary due for review 1st April 2024.
