We are seeking a dedicated and Experienced School Administrator to join our team on a temporary basis with the potential to become a permanent member of staff for the right candidate. The role involves a variety of administrative and reception duties within a vibrant school environment.
Day to Day of the role:- Undertake reception duties, including answering telephone enquiries, greeting visitors, and managing sign-in procedures.
- Provide first aid and welfare support to pupils, including caring for sick pupils and liaising with parents and staff.
- Assist in the organisation of school trips, events, and other activities.
- Perform general clerical tasks such as photocopying, filing, completing standard forms, and responding to routine correspondence.
- Maintain manual and computerised records and management information systems.
- Produce lists, information, and data as required, including pupil data.
- Undertake typing, word-processing, and other IT-based tasks.
- Take notes at meetings and sort and distribute mail.
- Handle routine administrative procedures and maintain and collate pupil reports.
- Administer the school’s extended services, such as After School Clubs, activity clubs, and school lettings.
- Proficiency in relevant IT packages (e.g., Word, Excel, databases, spreadsheets, Internet, SIMS, Parentmail, Parentpay).
- Experience in maintaining stock and supplies, cataloguing, and distribution.
- Ability to provide general advice and guidance to staff, pupils, and others.
- Experience in general financial administration, including processing orders and invoices.
- Awareness of policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety, security, confidentiality, and data protection.
