Are you an experienced financial professional? Pilgrims' Friend Society is expanding, and we need a Financial Operations Accountant to take charge of focusing on the financial management of the legal entities within the PFS Group. This role allows you to work within a varied role, supporting our work through the timely production of high-quality financial and management reports and information to enable effective decisionmaking across all our homes and schemes.
Our focus is providing a loving and caring environment for our "family members" (our residents) and maintaining the *Christian ethos that is important to many of them.

Read the full candidate pack hereResponsibilities:- Preparation and posting of standard accruals, unauthorised invoices and prepayments and completion of balance sheet reconciliations
- Processing all cashbook entries.
- Performing daily checks on bank balances to ensure minimum cash levels are maintained and transfers managed as required.
- Managing BACS payment runs in line with signing authority.
- Provide excellent support to homes, schemes and colleagues by replying promptly and professionally to emails and telephone queries.
- Assist in ad hoc queries and reports.
- Minimum of 5 years experience working in a finance team;
- AAT qualification or higher;
- Strong Excel skills (Vlookups, pivot tables);
- Experience using Sage 200;
- Able to work under pressure;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work in a cohesive team.

Hours:Full-time contract, Working 34.5 hours a week-Monday to Friday.
Hybrid working- although we would expect you to be in our Support Office in central London at regular intervals.
