The HR Administrator will report directly to the Head of HR; the primary objective is to provide administrative support for the HR department and wider business.
The HR Administrator will be responsible for:
HR System
- Responsible for owning the HR system, logging and troubleshooting technical issues with the system provider and guiding and supporting employees and managers to access information efficiently ensuring compliance with GDPR.
- Accurately update employee records on the HR system.
- Ensuring the HR system is updated with relevant employee changes such as line manager changes.
Onboarding and Off-boarding
- Manage and oversee the onboarding process of all new starters and background checks through our provider, CV Insight. Arranging IT onboarding.
- Creating and issuing employment contracts.
- Onboarding and offboarding colleagues from HR Systems and Staff benefits.
- Arranging exit interviews and managing the leaver process.
General
- Being the first point of contact for all queries and routing matters to the relevant team member as efficiently and effectively as possible to ensure that a high-quality and integrated HR Service is provided.
- Provide information on policies and processes across a broad range of HR topics, responding to straightforward to moderately complex questions, ensuring employee privacy and protecting confidentiality where appropriate.
- Supporting the performance management process such as tracking the completed PMPs and chasing managers for their documents.
- Coordination and diary management of probation review meetings.
Essential requirements for the HR Administrator include:
- Excellent MS Office knowledge
- Previous experience dealing with different systems/apps/technologies.
- Experience within an administrative role, HR experience preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Hours of work: This is a part-time opportunity of 21 hours per week. Probitas Syndicate 1492 offers flexibility, you can choose to work your hours over 3-5 days depending on your availability. This role will be an Onsite position based in our office in Central London.
