We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner with a proven track record in Business Partnering and building strong working relationships to join our award-winning charity on a permanent basis.

What you will be doing
You will work closely with Heads of Department and senior managers in your assigned areas of the charity and provide expert guidance on the build and delivery of solutions which support the achievement of charity objectives and our people plans. You should be skilled in building effective and collaborative relationships with key charity stakeholders as well as colleagues in our People and Culture Directorate.
Key accountabilities
- Take a proactive and lead role in conversations with key stakeholders and use influencing skills to develop and deliver people plans and solutions which are aligned to functional and charity objectives
- Lead and have absolute clarity on all HR activity in areas of responsibility, drive changes to ensure most effective use of people resource and monitor and report on value add
- Demonstrate commercial acumen across all functional areas of support
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders
- Coach stakeholders in the use of data reporting for people related data and drive focussed actions into the charity to positively impact performance, e.g., retention, attendance, and engagement to achieve agreed targets
- Champion an inclusive culture, where colleagues feel able to challenge appropriately, highlight risks and concerns, perform at their best and can be themselves at work
- Identify and oversee high risk/litigious cases and escalate any significant business issues or risk
Experience and knowledge
- Secondary education with significant experience of working in a human resources function
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role, and/or possesses CIPD level 5 qualification
- Up to date understanding of employment law, reward, HR analytics, organisational design, recruitment, learning and development, talent management and HR policy.
- Proven relationship building and partnering skills, coupled with the confidence to challenge status quo and recommend and deliver changed ways of working
- Experience of managing change and implementing new initiatives
- Articulate in demonstrating experience in methodologies and best practice in Business Partnering

- Ability to act as a critical thinker, finding practical solutions to complex people challenges
- Communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to input to decision making within stakeholder group and provide constructive challenge.
