A vital HR Transactional Services Coordinator position is now available with Bury Council on a 5-month temporary contract. Hybrid working is available.
What is the role?
Bury Council are now looking to appoint a HR Coordinator. This position is based in the Council’s Human Resources and Organisational Development function, responsible for ensuring the Council has the right people, with the right skills, in the right place.
The focus of this role is to provide effective and comprehensive support the day-to-day activities of the HR Operations team. You will ensure requests relating to the employment lifecycle are effectively and efficiently processed.
How will you do this?
- Provide general operation HR advice, support, and guidance to support staff and job applicants.
- Take responsibility for the planning and delivery of day-to-day service activities, ensuring effective deployment of resources.
- Support operational activities of agency workers, ensuring Agency Worker Regulations and IR35 Legislation is adhered to.
- Monitor HR inboxes and formulate responses and acknowledgements to correspondence, taking initiative on behalf of the service.
What background do you need?
- Ability to deal with complex customer queries and provide appropriate solutions.
- Good understanding of employment legislation, recruitment stages, and different aspects of the employee lifecycle.
