HR Coordinator

HR Department

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Village for a permanent HR Coordinator based in the Human Resources Department.

Interested in:

An approachable and professional Coordinator with the enthusiasm and expertise to support a busy HR Department.

The successful candidate will have a flexible attitude, strong communication skills and the drive to plan and organise their own workload. Strong interpersonal, team working, and computer skills are essential for this role.

There is the opportunity for the successful applicant to receive further qualifications whilst in the role, therefore CIPD membership is not essential, although a proven interest in HR would be an advantage.

The main duties of the role will be:

  • Act as a first point of contact for employee queries, directing situations to an HR Advisor or HR Manager where appropriate.
  • Ensure legal procedures are adhered to regarding new starter information.
  • Support with the onboarding process, including Right to Work checks, producing offer letters, producing contracts, completing Medicash enrolment and issuing reference requests .
  • Coordination of uniform stock and standards for the business. This includes dealing with uniform queries, sourcing new items, dealing with item issues, and liaising with our uniform supplier to maintain a strong relationship.
  • Responsible for updating information on the HR, Training and Payroll system.
  • Produce employee data reports from the HR system.
  • Coordinate opportunities to engage with our employees, for example stay interview feedback, leaver interviews and our annual employee engagement survey.
  • Answer the telephone in a prompt, efficient way in order to answer queries and engage with potential employees of Ribby Hall Village.
  • Ad hoc project work to support the HR Department, for example Employee Engagement projects, Wellbeing projects and IIP support.
  • Learning & Development coordinator duties, such as administration support with the Onboarding process, Appraisals and Apprenticeships.

Availability:

This role is full time, offering 40 hours over 5 days in a department that operates Monday to Friday.

Flexibility may be required for occasional evenings and weekends to assist with recruitment events.

Salary:

£24,000 per annum (pro rata)
