Ashley Kate are delighted to be supporting a facilities management firm, based in London as they look to recruit for a full time, permanent, HR Manager.
The salary for this role is £44k - £50k, depending on experience, plus travel allowance.
Hybrid working is available - 2 days per week from home.
HR Manager:
Responsibilities include:
- Manage a team of 5 staff, reporting into the Head of People.
- Provide advice and guidance to management on all HR and ER related processes.
- Build and maintain a positive environment through effective employee relation practices.
- Lead on Grievances, Disciplinaries and Appeal Hearings.
- Manage redundancies, consultations and performance meetings as well as support and lead on TUPE consultations.
- Oversee induction processes.
- Providing data/ reports to senior managers and the wider team.
- Lead on ad hoc HR related projects.
Experience required:
- 3 - 5 years experience working in a HR position with knowledge of the whole employee life cycle
- Previous HR Manager experience or equivalent - 1 year minimum
- HR related qualification - CIPD L5 or above, desirable.
- Experience in managing redundancy, disciplinaries, grievances and performance related issues
- Up to date knowledge of employment law
- Union experience (desirable)
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to speak Spanish OR Portuguese would be advantageous
