This is an exciting opportunity, the successful candidate will support an external sales team to secure appointments with builders, developers, architects to discuss upcoming projects
Our client is a well-established ceramic tile distributor, based in Yorkshire, they sell ceramic tiles and associated products via house builders, developers and architects. We are looking for a motivated, professional Internal Sales person who can source leads from Glenigan, Barbour ABI and networking to secure appointments for the external sales reps.
Our client, has an excellent reputation for providing a quality product, they have excellent marketing material, can provide samples and a strong experienced external sales team to help the appointed candidate achieve success in this role.
Role:
?Our client is looking for a confident, motivated New Business Developer, with the ability to work alongside a successful sales team. The successful candidate will play important role in the businesses plan for future growth. Helping to create opportunities to quote for new customers, you must be capable of contacting potential clients via phone, email and social media and accurately identifying and qualifying opportunities for the external sales reps.

Responsibilities:
- Internal sales role, to book appointments within construction sector, with builders, developers and architects etc….
- Use Glenigan, Barbour ABI or similar, to identify upcoming construction projects and identify possible contacts.
- Use social media, LinkedIn etc to network contacts.
- Promote products and service to prospective customers through various marketing activities.
- Build rapport with potential clients, get them to open up about potential future business opportunities and secure appointments for the sales reps.
- Record all sales activity on company CRM database
- Demonstrate excellent time management and organisational skills, making sure you diary calls and call people back when you agree to call them.
- Work using your own initiative whilst being a team player
- Potential to attend company exhibitions and events, both onsite and outside the business
Key competencies:
- Positive attitude, friendly and motivated, able to build positive relationships with potential contacts / customers
- Good market research skills, find the companies, decision makers and buyers.
- Excellent social media, networking and marketing skills
- Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Accurate data entry on the company CRM system, logging all calls, call backs and relevant info
- Identify and discuss new business opportunities with the external sales reps and the Sales Director
- Excellent internal communication with the wider team.
- To achieve targets and deadlines set by the Sales Director
