Your next role
You will undertake all Estate and Tenancy Management functions, on a day to day basis, of approximately 800 properties and you will complete estate inspections and tenancy audits to support this work. You will be responsible for ensuring that maximum rental income is collected, striking a balance between prevention, early intervention and recovery action of debts owed.
You will also be responsible for, signing up new tenancies and tenancy management as well as providing intensive management to maintain tenancies. In addition, the post holder will provide welfare advice and work closely with external agencies as well as our tenants.
Excellent computer and record keeping skills are essential. You will also need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative and within a team.
With your ability to make decisions on financial arrangements, clear communication, benefit knowledge and resilience for a demanding role, makes you our ideal candidate. So too is your commitment to supporting people and achieving positive outcomes.
At times you will be required to work evenings and/or Saturday mornings.
You must have the ability to travel throughout the Borough, plus an enhanced DBS disclosure will be required.
You must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act – for the effective performance of a customer-facing role).
