Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team in providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of our car sales/servicing office.
Flexible approach to working days/hours - minimum 20 hours per week
Duties:
- Maintain financial and administrative records, reconciling all income/expenditure,
payments and balances on day-to-day transactions
- Processing of accounting transactions within Microsoft Excel to include, posting bank payments/receipts, petty cash payments/receipts, purchase invoices/payments/credit notes, tracking of revenue items and corresponding
amounts due.
- Monthly reconciliation of creditors to supplier statements
- Conduct data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Demonstrate strong organisational skills to manage office operations effectively
- Perform administrative duties such as filing, copying, and scanning documents
- Computerise office processes to enhance efficiency
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for financial record keeping Skills
- Administrative experience in an office setting is preferred
Essential Criteria
Grade C and above GCSE English (or equivalent)
Grade C and above GCSE Maths (or equivalent)
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office
At least 1 year previous administration experience
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £11.50-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
