Based in South Suffolk, you will be joining a purpose-built, family-run food manufacturing company which has partnered with various hospitality and other manufacturing organisations to create a well-established brand and continuous growth.
Your new role
As Operations Administrator you will perform a variety of multifaceted tasks to contribute to the smooth running of office operations. Duties include:
- Handling customer queries (via telephone/emails/chats) and efficiently solving problems
- Processing orders and updating customers on shipping status'
- Marketing administration (website and social media)
- Booking order transport
- Invoicing (Sage 50 accounts) and raising bacs payments
- Producing daily/monthly sales figures
- Organising exhibition events
- Occasional evening/weekend travel with SLT, visiting customers, and attending trade shows to promote products
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will be a confident and personable individual with excellent rapport-building skills. You will be highly organised with the ability to prioritise a busy, varied workload. In addition, having a proactive, "can-do" approach will benefit your application, and even more so if you have a passion for multicultural cuisines.
Previously you will have worked in a similar administrative/coordination position and experience in a customer facing role (telephone/in-person/email).
