We are seeking to appoint a newly qualified or experienced SENDCo that has to appropriate qualification or experience to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for leading and developing the SEND provision and will be an exemplary practitioner with a proven record of expertise in special educational needs.

We are looking for someone who:
· Has previous experience or has an exceptional understanding of teaching and learning in the primary phase.
· Has SEN experience and the National qualification for Special Educational Needs Co-ordination
· Has secure knowledge and understanding of the SEN code of practice
· Possesses a strong knowledge of SEND and whole school inclusion.
· Can adeptly apply for EHCP’s and have a secure knowledge of other funding streams that can be accessed
· Has secure knowledge and understanding of key partnerships and processes that meet the needs of children with SEND
· Is creative in their approach to supporting children with special educational needs
· Works effectively as part of a team and enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues and families of pupils with SEND
