Day to day – you will be trained on everything
- Supporting the senior project manager with tasks including organisation of client events - guest lists, invitations, venues, catering, budget management, client liaison and helping to reach their carbon emission targets
- General office management, meeting guests, organising breakfasts, liaising with landlords, stationery & supplies, helping with magazine distribution
- Assisting the commercial team with client and market research, research for sales pitches and presentations, client liaison and follow up, copy chasing for print, inserts and digital campaigns
- Management of single-issue orders and subscriber queries
- Lead on organising staff social events
Candidate experience / qualities
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and written skills
- Confident, pro-active, happy to muck in, hard-working, they like people who’ve worked in outgoing roles such as hospitality and events
- Ability to remain effective when working under pressure
- A driven and optimistic team player
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Honesty, integrity and reliability
- Planning and organisation
- Good time management
- Interest in publishing, media, sustainability is a real plus
