Product Marketing Director - Thriva B2B SolutionsWe’re looking for a talented Product Marketing Director to join Thriva’s fast growing B2B Solutions Business. Sector-specific experience is great, especially in areas like healthcare, pharmaceuticals and insurance, but not a prerequisite.
The Product Marketing Director will be the first in role and is an opportunity to own our overall B2B product strategy. In that role you will be responsible for planning, creating and implementing the overall Product Marketing strategy including new product development and international expansion
Your Role:- Planning, creating and implementing Thriva Solutions Product Marketing Strategy.
- Market intelligence—be the expert on our buyers, who are they, how they buy and their key buying criteria.
- Build the key value propositions for our product
- Act as the primary thought leader for the products you support externally, including speaking engagements and written works.
- Understand the competitive landscape—be an expert on our competition and how they are positioned.
- Understand and support our sales channels; train them on the problems we solve for our buyers and users; develop internal tools and external collateral and teach them how and when to use it.
- Collaborate with product management and marketing communications to develop product positioning and messaging that resonate with our target buyer personas.
- Understand and document our buyer’s process, including where they get information, and the who, what, when and why behind the decisions they make. Then drive changes to our sales and marketing processes based on what you learn.
- Develop a marketing plan for the products you support in conjunction with our marketing team, including key activities and budgets to support the retention of existing customers and the acquisition of new customers.
- Assess the effectiveness of the marketing programs that support your products on an ongoing basis, and report back to the business on required changes.
- Plan the launches of net-new products and releases of existing products, and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan.
- Set the Licence and Pricing of the B2B products
- Identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness through better audience segmentation, marketing techniques, and processes
- Strategic thinker, capable of building and executing Go-to-Market for mid-market and enterprise.
- Minimum of 5 year’s experience in a high-tech B2B Organisation.
- Experience with building the Go to Market for a new solution/product in B2B setting for Mid-market and Enterprise
- Minimum of 1 year experience of being the company spokesperson
- Conferences, webinars, customer events, blogs.
- Experience of building Licence models.
- Experience of International Expansion - launching a product into a new Geography, eg USA and EU
- Attention to detail and discipline to follow established policies and processes
- Familiarity with the technical sales cycle and how to source and build content to nurture leads, drive adoption, and expand usage
