Main Duties:
Forest Management Administration & Project Co-ordination Services, supports the stewardship of the forest estate, property/assets and their use; co-ordination of project management for technical, business and service delivery improvements and associated public /customer interface in line with business area requirements.
The postholder will be required to undertake a range of administration processes associated with the operational work of the Forest Service, including, processing timber harvesting information, regeneration of woodlands, health & safety procedures and recreation provision.
Cancel and process refunds for recreations sites. Issue and take payments for annual permits.
To support the delivery of customer services and ensure that responses to verbal or written enquiries / complaints from external customers relating to estate and operations matters are processed in accordance with DAERA’s Customer Service Standards.
The postholder will be required to process 3rd party requests for licence arrangements for access to the forest estate for recreational activities.
Any other duties as required.
Essential Criteria: To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Excellent IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Good communication skills.
- 5 GCSEs, including both Maths & English (or Level 2 equivalent).
- Basic Access NI Check.
