Group Business Development Manager – Packaging

Are you a dynamic and driven sales professional with a background of securing new customers?
Using your prior sales experience in selling print or packaging into premium brands, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. Targeting clients in the premium food & drink, consumer goods, hospitality or premium independent retailers, your primary focus will involve cultivating lasting relationships with potential clients and converting leads. Leveraging your initiative, you’ll collaborate with technical experts within the business divisions while championing the Groups vision and offerings.

Your Key Responsibilities:
- To gain a comprehensive understanding of the businesses diverse products and services to effectively advise and engage clients
- Liaising internally with Subject Matter Experts across various product streams to identify cross-brand opportunities.
- Identifying key decision makers within target client organisations
- Proficiently addressing customer needs and devising effective strategies to fulfil them
- Identifying new opportunities through networking and market intelligence
For your application to be successful, you will need:
- Proven success in Business Development roles, particularly in securing long-term contracts with complex organisations
- Experience in developing sustainable solutions aligned with environmental considerations
- Proficiency in selling luxury packaging/machinery across various materials (paper, card, glass, cotton/jute bags).
- Willingness for frequent travel, including possible overnight stays and overseas travel
- Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, and tech (MS suite) skills.
- Flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced environment and a results-oriented, self-motivated mindset
- A growth-oriented approach with a commitment to delivering excellence.
- Ideally sales experience across premium brands

This is a hybrid working opportunity, you will be expected to travel to client sites, details regarding the businesses sites in the UK will be discussed in detail with successful candidates.
