New Business Development Manager – Luxury Packaging

For more than 50 years this packaging business have grown and developed to become a key player in providing glass packaging solutions.
The business has gone through a phase of growth through organic expansion and carefully selected acquisitions. The next stage of its plan is to recruit a New Business Development Manager to sell its glass packaging solutions into the health, beauty, cosmetic and home fragrance markets.
You’ll play a pivotal role in identifying and pursuing New Business opportunities. This is heavily focused on new client acquisition, following the sales process and onboarding clients before handing over to the internal account management teams.
To be suitable for this role, you must be a hunter and have a background in sales development rather than account management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Networking and using your knowledge of the market to identify new customers within relevant sectors to sell glass packaging, closures and lids with creative decoration and labelling services
- Cross sell complimentary products from other divisions within the group
- Developing relationships with potential customers with a view of nurturing them into valued profitable clients
Requirements:
- Proven success in sales/New Business Development roles
- Experience in developing sustainable packaging solutions
- Proficiency in selling Luxury Packaging & creative design services within the Health, Beauty, Cosmetic and Candle glass sectors
- Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, and computer skills including presenting
- Flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced environment with a results-oriented, self-motivated mindset
To succeed in this role, you need to be a highly motivated individual who has strong commercial awareness.
A full UK driving licence is required.
