VANRATH are pleased to be working alongside a manufacturing business based in Lisburn who specialise within a niche sector of the market. A Head of Finance is required to join for 6-9 months to cover a period of maternity, focusing on the management of the finance team.
The Head of Finance will be responsible for a ensuring a range of high level, strategic and financial objectives are met as agreed with senior board members. Reporting to the Chief Executive, the post holder will demonstrate an exceptional level of commercial awareness, with an infectious leadership style with a diligent management style.
About you
- Qualified Accountant (5+ years at management level)
- Proven track record of managing a team of 5+ staff
- Experience in the development of a series of robust processes, procedures & policies
- Excellent communication skills
What you'll do
- Management of the financial function alongside the Finance Manager
- Preparation and delivery of the monthly management accounts
- Managing fixed asset register
- Accountability for all business planning, forecasting and financial modelling
- Banking point of contact
