Impact Recruitment are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our amazing client based in Wellingborough. This is a key role within the business, and we are looking for someone with a minimum CIPD Level 3 Qualification, strong knowledge of employee relations and previous experience of recruiting for blue collar staff in an engineering or manufacturing environment. You will be working closely with the rest of the HR Team and line managers to address workforce needs and drive organisational success.

Key duties and responsibilities of the HR Business Partner:
- Provide expertise and advice on all matters of employee relations and HR best practice and employment law compliance across the relevant business area. Lead, support and offer guidance to Line Managers.
- Working collaboratively with Line Managers with a hands-on approach in monitoring respective teams to a ensure a high level of engagement and support the Line Managers with recruitment plans.
- Gain a full understanding of the job role and the skills and competencies required to design full job descriptions and person specifications.
- Liaise with relevant recruitment agencies, shortlist candidates and arrange interviews.
- Draw up and send out new starter letters, contracts and associated paperwork and provide Payroll Manager with copies of the offer letter and employee data sheet.
- Create personnel files for new starters and ensure that all documentation is present and completed to include qualifications, proof of ID and eligibility to work in the UK.
- Support the business area by instilling best practice and consistency by providing advice and guidance on employee related matters and take the lead, where necessary, on probationary meetings, grievances, investigations, disciplinaries, return to work meetings, sickness review meetings, capability meetings, performance management and appraisals.
- Keeping up to date with employment law and changes in legislation.
- Identify training needs and develop initiatives to enhance employee skills and competencies.
- Oversee HR data systems, ensuring accurate reporting of metrics and insights.
Key experience and skills required for the HR Business Partner:
- Proven experience within a HR Business Partner role with a strong knowledge on Employee Relations .
- Minimum CIPD Level 3 Qualification is essential.
- Previous HR experience of recruiting for blue collar roles in an engineering or manufacturing environment is a must.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong team player who is confident and self-motivated to deliver change.
- Computer knowledge to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Xero.
