The Role
We are recruiting for a part-time Payroll Assistant for approx. 21hrs a week over 3 days. Flexible hours will be considered between office based and hybrid organized with the Payroll Manager after completion of probation. The role will be based in our new building in Dartford near to the M25 which we are due to move in to at the beginning of April 2024. It is going to be a very exciting time for the business.
The right candidate will be someone who is very enthusiastic, willing to learn, show initiative and have strong organizational skills. They will support and report to the Payroll Manager.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Track and record Employee’s:
o Time Keeping (Lateness/making up time)
o Sickness
o Annual Leave
o Overtime
- Expenses
- Admin and Preparation of Payroll via Sage 50 Payroll
- Create & post Payroll Journal
The Candidate
The successful candidate will ideally have some office experience (although not essential)
The following skills will be required:

Þ Work without direct Supervision
Þ Strong desire to learn
Þ Be able to communicate to all staff in a friendly & professional manner
Þ Good excel skills
Þ Sage 50 Payroll experience (preferable but not essential)

A competitive salary pro-rota based on experience. Once probationary period is completed there will be a range of benefits such as eligibility to join the company pension scheme, staff purchase discounts.
