The role
As a Business Support Administrator, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. The role will be establishing the foundations of the team to drive success and best practice.
Day to day, you'll support the Business Support team within the Business Operations workstream which is a key workstream within the Skynet SDW Programme.
You will:
- Provide admin support for your specific office location e.g. ordering consumable supplies (stationery, paper etc) and coordinating the servicing of office equipment and vending machines
- Proactively process incoming visitors, including arranging of security access, visitor passes, booking of meeting rooms and relevant catering/hospitality
- Carry out document control including transfer of information from Babcock and our customer systems, using the authorised transfer process
- Collaboratie with the Business Support Team around compliance for processing of timesheets, expenses, and labour bookings, ensuring wider record management including log keeping and destruction of relevant secure material
- Collaborate on special or other continuous improvement projects as requested
This role is full time working thirty-seven hours per week and will be based on site at Corsham and Bordon with hybrid working from home arrangements. You'll also support other sites within the UK in a similar role when required.
Essential experience of the Business Support Administrator:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint etc) suite, Teams and Visio and other office productivity tools
- Experience of general office management, with excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work
- Process improvement and change management, new ways of working
- Working across multiple agencies and projects and multiple ways of working
- Strong stakeholder management across multiple levels
Qualifications for the Business Support Administrator:
- GCSE Maths & English, or relevant demonstrated ability of this level
The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
