Deputy Commercial Manager Europe
Primarily, the role of the Deputy Commercial Manager seeks to embed and drive sales mentality to ensure consistent revenue growth for the company through maintaining existing relationships with nominated key clients; as well as providing support in the daily management of the charter team alongside the Commercial Manager Europe.
We’re looking for someone who can:
- Assist the Commercial Manager in the daily management of the charter team
- Represent the Commercial Manager (when absent) at internal briefings
- Assist in the review of work processes, efficiency, and service levels
- Rejuvenate relationship management with nominated key clients and industry partners
- Generate revenue for the company
- Coach and mentor of the sales team to reach individual & team targets
- Promote a “European Sales Team” mentality within the charter team
- Liaise with other departments e.g. Operations, Accounting, Aircraft Management, Crewing
- Provide market knowledge to the business and advise on TAG aircraft pricing in the market
- Create proposals for TAG aircraft owners and sell our charter services
- Be involved with all aspects of owners release and provide knowledge to all departments with regards to profits and margins
- Monitor Europe performance and report figures to management
- Represent TAG externally at industry functions
- Promote the TAG reputation and brand
- Provide ‘out-of-hours’ support for the team - working on a rotation basis as part of the team
- Help define and implement a training plan for new starters
- Compile weekly updates of AC availability and sales opportunities
- Conduct internal training of new team members
- Provide operational / sales guidance to the team
- Plan targeted sales related industry / direct client meetings
- Help review client performance and mentor client development
- Direct tactical existing client meetings / business entertaining
- Implement structured sales incentives
- Provide consistent sales drive and motivation
- Monitor sales training and embedding within the team
- Create new sales opportunities
- Help design new charter sales products
- Plan TAG charter events
- Review trip files for sales/operational opportunities
- Push team sales activity by defining and implementing pro-active sales approaches
- Attend relevant networking opportunities to support Business Development
- Help change TAG direction to remain current as an industry leader
