Job description

My client a large Housing association – has excellent opening for a permanent Rewards analyst – the role will be.
hybrid, working from home and occasional time in Head office in London.

The salary range is £33819 per annum to £46501 plus benefits.

The Reward Analyst will undertake job evaluations and associated work to help the business deliver the structures and roles required to deliver business objectives; whilst also supporting wider colleague understanding and engagement with pay and benefits, and contribute to the planning, communication, and delivery of cyclical and one-off reward projects.

The Reward Analyst also has shared team responsibility for responding to colleague reward questions and, administering monthly payroll compensation and benefit changes and ensuring supplier invoices are processed in a timely and accurate manner.

Key Accountabilities
• Coordinate evaluation panels, liaising with HRBPs and management to ensure role profiles and other contextual information is sufficient to allow for effective job evaluation to be undertaken; in conjunction with Reward Managers ensure effective tracking of role profiles from submission by the business through to confirmation of pay range from the team.
• Participate in the job evaluation of roles and in conjunction with the Reward Managers collate outcomes.
• Liaise with HRPBs, business managers and any other relevant stakeholders on structure and role changes, capturing context and providing feedback on role content that supports efficient completion of evaluations and benchmarking.
• Provide pay and benefits analysis which illustrates in a clear and concise manner costs and other relevant impacts of change.
• Manage the team inboxes, addressing all queries with a solution-oriented approach, either with firsthand knowledge or by collaborating with colleagues to deliver the appropriate solution; help drive colleague awareness of Reward offering and processes, promoting self-service by ensuring pay and benefit information is easily accessible on Intranet.

Experience and pre-qualification criteria
• Demonstrable experience of working in a reward environment, with a CIPD Associate Diploma or equivalent experience.
• Proven practical experience of using job evaluation methodology (preferably Korn Ferry) to size roles, with sound knowledge of how this supports organisational design principles.
• A strong understanding of the key components in reward and remuneration and how these operate in a complex Group business.
• A sound knowledge of relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with an ability to effectively present and communicate written findings to inform recommendations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy including a high level of numeracy, with a strong working knowledge of main Microsoft Office applications, but in particular Excel and applying formula such as multiple look-up and pivot tables.
• Well organised with the ability to work independently, multitasking and effectively prioritising customer needs.
• Demonstrable experience of effective relationship building and influencing skills; including an ability to provide clear and concise guidance to colleagues on policy and process, even when the content is challenging or unwelcome.
