The Role
We are looking for an Administrator with a couple of years’ experience in a busy team (ideally an accountancy setting but this is not essential) to join our Audit & Accounts team.
To be successful you will hold the following:
Qualifications
- Minimum of GCSE Grade 4 in English and Maths (or equivalent)
Knowledge/Abilities/Skills/Experience
- Be proficient in Microsoft applications (Word and Excel in particular)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience of working as part of a team in a professional office environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work under own initiative

Some of the tasks you will do:
- Running off monthly WIP (work in progress) reports from our internal database for all Senior Managers
- Sending of completed accounts weekly to Companies House and maintaining an accurate log to track this action
- Update and maintain our work planner schedule (Float) for department’s audits/projects/tasks
- Authorisation of holiday requests checking work planner alongside the job manager
- Coordinate the tagging process – in line with our accounts process – to ensure the administration process is carried out in a timely basis
- Coordinate the audit staff appraisal process
- Coordinate and monitor the compliance diary reporting system
- Arrange monthly manager meetings and organise anything needed for them
- Research and book hotels and travel for staff carrying out audits off-site
- Assist the Assistant Manager with any miscellaneous tasks required within the department
