‘Life for a Life’ is a growing charity that offers its clients the chance to celebrate or commemorate loved ones by planting memorial trees in over fifty woodland locations across the United Kingdom.
We are currently looking for a full-time Administrator based at our head office in Chadderton.
The role supports all charity admin functions, processing tree orders, maintaining the client database, processing debit & credit card transactions, producing planting itineraries, and other basic admin duties such as responding to calls and emails, greeting and managing visitors, and scanning and filing documents.
The ideal candidate will have strong office admin experience, excellent literacy and numeracy skills and the ability to work independently. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to follow processes with detail is essential.
Most importantly is empathy for your clients and their loss, great interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with compassion.
An interest in nature is a bonus along with previous experience of working for or volunteering for a charity or third sector organisation.
